What is your best marketing tip?

    • Hi Mai, marketing is a moving target most days. I spend about 20-30% daily marketing via the different networks . The main thing is to be consistent and to keep up the visibility.

That’s why it is good to have blog tours, do specials on books, all with the goal to have potential buyers know about the books. Discoverability is the most difficult part for most authors.

Ultimately, there is no substitute for writing a GREAT book, so that is always the #1 step!

      Thanks for your comment, Mai,

    • Like Eden said, marketing is always changing, so it’s hard to really nail down one tip that would be useful over time consistently. Discoverability is what every author grapples with, more so every day. One thing that remains vital is blog tours and guest-blogging. These are amazing when it comes to marketing books because as an author, I get to be featured on someone else’s blog, and meet their readers (like you!) and we are both likely new to each other. That’s invaluable when it comes to growing your audience. 🙂
